Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TimeFloat ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

TimeFloat is a time tracking and countdown timer application for iOS and macOS that allows you to:

  • Track time spent on projects and tasks
  • Set countdown timers with customizable presets
  • View statistics and generate reports
  • Sync data across devices via iCloud
  • Export data in various formats

Free and Paid Features

Free Tier

The free version of TimeFloat includes core features with a limit of one project after the trial period ends.

Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all Pro features. No credit card is required for the trial.

Pro Subscription

Pro features are available through subscription or lifetime purchase:

  • Monthly subscription: $3.99/month
  • Yearly subscription: $24.99/year (48% savings)
  • Lifetime purchase: $44.99 one-time

Subscription Terms

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment will be charged at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

All subscription and in-app purchase refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works
  • Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Keep your device and Apple ID secure
  • Maintain backups of your data

Intellectual Property

TimeFloat and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by TimeFloat and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your data and content remain yours. We do not claim ownership of any content you create or store in the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIMEFLOAT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
